Could you be the full-time Project Industrial Engineer in Oslo we’re looking for?

Your future role

As Project Industrialisation Engineer, you will be responsible to manage the industrial scope for signalling projects. During the design phase you will work together with engineering to perform Design for Manufacturing, Installation and Cost. Furthermore, you will be the key contact for technical questions from the suppliers of our products.

 

Day-to-day, In this role you will work close together with our development teams, electrical and mechanical suppliers, installation, procurement and other stakeholders.

 

You will be responsible to :

 

  • Review industrial requirements during Tender Phase
  • Participate in Technical Design Reviews
  • Perform Design for Manufacturing, Installation and Cost during Design Phase
  • Ensure that consideration is applied to part/ component obsolescence, sustainability, standardisation, mono source, manufacturing or assembly process to reduce the impacts on industrial.
  • Manage Industrial Quality, Cost and Delivery.
  • Build the Return of Experience from Manufacturing and Installation and make sure that this is taken into account for future design.
  • Define the generic product industrial breakdown structure (MBOM)
  • Support quality and sourcing in case of non-conformity or issues at suppliers, to find and implement corrective solutions.

  • Graduated with an Engineering degree in process engineering, electronics or electromechanics
  • 2-5 years of manufacture production experience or in a similar role
  • Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English. Beneficial to have Norwegian language skills.
  • Experience in working with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, international and external Suppliers.
  • Desired competencies: autonomous, teamwork, communication, planning, drive for results and flexibility
  • Flexibility to travel to a low-medium degree within Europe
  • Beneficial to have experience with Design for Manufacturing, Installation or Cost
