Could you be the full-time Filed Engineer in Oslo we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrialization expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of modifications, driving quality, efficiency, and compliance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and quality assurance), ensure effective communication within the field modification team, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of the industrialization of modifications according to state-of-the-art practices, but also ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules and Alstom’s Code of Ethics.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Industrializing modifications in alignment with best practices

  • Guaranteeing the flow of information within the field modification team

  • Performing quality self-control to ensure high standards

  • Integrating respect for EHS rules and work-related processes

  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and mature modification files

  • Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of industrialization processes and best practices

  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies

  • Familiarity with EHS standards and compliance

  • A certification in quality management or industrial processes is a plus

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Adaptability and a proactive problem-solving mindset
