Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll be pivotal in delivering hardware subsystems that ensure the safety and efficiency of train movements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Product Management, Quality Assurance), orchestrating the hardware deliverables and ensuring customer acceptance, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of providing hardware functional and architecture specifications, detailed design and configuration, as well as managing the Signalling – Rolling Stock interface specification. Additionally, you will oversee the technical consistency and contribute to the validation phase of the subsystem.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering hardware QCD (Quality, Cost, and Delivery) commitments

Being the direct technical interface with the customer for Hardware Engineering

Ensuring all Domain/Métier activities follow HW methods & tools
-
Supporting Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) in monitoring HW Engineering Work Package QCD performance

Participating in Risk and Savings Reviews for your scope

Communicating effectively with the customer to ensure HW documentation approval

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Experience or understanding of hardware systems in the rail or similar industry

Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Familiarity with safety-critical systems

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar, is advantageous
-
Strong communication skills
-
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
