Our Alstom site, located in Ornans (30 minutes from Besançon / 1 hour from Dijon), is a Centre of Excellence for the design and manufacturing of traction motors and alternators that equip the full range of rolling stock worldwide. With around 350 employees, our industrial site works on a wide range of products and services in a growing sector driven by technological innovation.

Your role:

 

As a member of the Ornans site management committee, you will lead the procurement strategy within your scope, ensure economic performance, and foster a culture of operational excellence within your teams.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Define and deploy the procurement strategy in alignment with Group and site objectives.
  • Drive procurement performance: cost optimization, supplier reliability, contract management, and risk management.
  • Lead and inspire the procurement team, develop competencies, and foster a culture of collective performance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, quality, finance, etc.) to secure project and operational needs.
  • Strengthen relationships with external partners and identify opportunities for innovation, competitiveness, and supply security

 

Profile:

  • Proven experience in procurement, ideally within an industrial environment.
  • Strong strategic leadership, with the ability to engage and transform teams.
  • Solid skills in negotiation, supplier management, and financial performance management.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding, multi-site, and international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen, aligned with leadership-level expectations.
