Industrial plant of more than 300 people, ALSTOM ORNANS proposes a large range of products and services in a growing environment led by technological innovations.

 

 

 

 

To develop its after sales activities (spares, repairs and maintenance), the site is looking for a:

Service department Manager - M/F

 

Directly attached to the Tender & Project Director of the plant:

  • You establish a strategy to increase the turnover
  • You perform the motors & alternators tenders (quality, cost & planning) for after sales market
  • You lead a team (direct management) of motor & alternator component managers

 

You are accountable of the respect of the tender & project process for your scope.

You are accountable of the Service department performances.

 

Main missions & responsibilities:

  • Increase the maintenance, repairs and spares turnover
  • Accountable of the on-time delivery of the products
  • Guarantee the gross margin in execution phase
  • Ensure the tenders compliance with the applicable company rules
  • Manage the quality, cost and planning optimizations and obtain clear commitments from the different stakeholders
  • Manage the risks & opportunities on your scope
  • Contribute to REX through the win-loss analysis
  • Manage the service department workload
  • Develop the competencies of your team
  • Create and monitor the department’s KPI
  • Maintain and optimize the after sales local process
  • Define and lead continuous improvement actions

 

Skills & background:

  • At least 10 years of experience in electric machines and team management.
  • Successful and significant experience in tender and project management.
  • Fluent in English
  • Master degree
  • Customer focus, results oriented
  • Kowledge of ALSTOM way of working is an asset
