Join us as HR & Labor Relations Advisor, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Orlando Sunrail (FL), US.

 

This position supports the HRBP-East Lead in communication and implementation of Alstom policies and programs covering the manpower planning/recruitment, employee/relation, labor relations, organizational development, succession planning, performance management, and support of shared services which are in support of company strategic business objectives. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Reviews and coordinates the company employment, employee/labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices to comply with the applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws, including the maintenance of necessary files, etc.
  • Coordinates the communication and coordination of Performance Management Process to ensure that employee performance is evaluated, that employees aware of their performance, development needs required to effectively support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee employment activities, assuring that properly qualified employees are recruited and hires for company positions.  Maintains FRA Drug and Alcohol Program, pre-employment and post offer testing.  Oversee all ISO audit, insures compliance to Alstom HR Manual and site policies/FRA regulations.
  • Ensures the development and implementation of training programs (with support of Shared Services) which support company business objectives, this includes new-orientation; communication programs, employee survey, and career counseling are conducted efficiently throughout the sites. Insures that training programs are recorded and employees are certified within their respective occupations as per Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Supports all sites on special projects, replaces other HRBPs while on vacation or authorized leave.  Assist Manager/Director on special assignments such as mobilization projects or site openings.  Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED PROFILE:

 

  • BA or MBA
  • 5 or more years of experience required
  • Certified PHR is an asset
  • Member of SHRM
  • Travel required to various sites 15% locally in MD/West Virginia as well as other US/CA sites for training or for assisting other sites.
