We have exciting opportunities available for Electrical Test Technicians to join our team responsible for the delivery of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) project in Perth, Western Australia. You will play a key role in helping keep Perths rail network safe and reliable!
Based onsite at Nowergup, You will be required to install, maintain and repair signaling equipment for the onboard systems for multiple fleets that are operating across Perths network.
Your future role:
- Work on complex train control systems, networking equipment and monitoring equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and testing of signalling on complex train control systems and networking equipment in line with standards and procedures
- Diagnose, repair and replace defective components to ensure the reliable operation of the signalling network and respond to signalling failures and power-related irregularities in a timely and safe manner
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out
- Ensure safe working practices by adhering to all safety rules, regulations and operating procedures.
About you:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent electrical trades certificate issued by a recognised Australian training organisation)
- Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence - WA
- Well-developed problem resolution skills.
