Product Introduction Quality Engineer
As Product Introduction Quality Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the process of non-conformities. You will act as a link between Alstom’s Product introduction side in Norsborg, Sweden, the manufacturing site in Hennigsdorf, Germany, and all our external suppliers. You will be working with the team in Norsborg and have a central role in ensuring that we can maintain the current C30 flet in operation as well as expand it with new trains. You will take ownership of the non-conformities process and maintain an overview of defect parts and supplier related quality issues while feedbacking this to relevant parties. In addition to that you will also be a part of ensuring that brand new delivered trains are up to Alstom’s quality standards when they are delivered to our customer.
Responsibilities
• Maintaining the non-conformities process
• Creating and monitor non-conformities against the manufacturing site in Hennigsdorf and our external suppliers
• Ensuring compliance in the non-conformity process by internal and external parts
• Improving and adapting the non-conformity process for the C30 project
• Take part in quality related investigations in both brand new and older C30 trains.
• Working alongside the quality team to identify and solve quality issues on the C30 trains
About you
• Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree
• Fluent in English • A high level of computer literacy and proficincy in usage of Offce suite of tools
• Swedish and/or German is a bonus but not required
