POSITION OVERVIEW: 
The trainee will work in the Industrial function within the platform dedicated to the maintenance of high-speed trains. 

 

SKILLS & EDUCATION: 
•  Bachelor’s degree in industrial or management engineering.
•  Initiative and pro-activity;
•  Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office SW package;
•  Excellent familiarity with digital technology;
•  Good interpersonal skills.

 

ACTIVITIES
Activities covered by the internship
• Set-up and implementation of electronic torque wrenches, integrated with the Alstom IT network;
• Identification of digital solutions for the improvement of business processes focused on Torque-Angle Tightening.
 
Main participation activities: 
• Completion of the Torque-Angle Electronic Tightening Project within the scope of the AGV and EVO trolley review.
• Compilation/updates of work procedures (work instructions) and material lists (and/or technical lists) in order to make them available to the operational teams.

 

TRAINING OBJECTIVES: 
The trainee will work with industrialization, manufacturing, engineering and quality teams;the trainee will deepen both technical topics and behavioral skills necessary for growth in a complex business environment. 
In conjunction with the tutor, the trainee will participate in activities of analysis and identification of innovative solutions for the optimization of industrial processes. 
Main objectives to be achieved:
• Expertise in the implementation of digital solutions for electronic torque-angle clamping.
• Skills for the use of company SW for materials and process management. 
• Methodologies for the computerization of processes in an Industrial 4.0 perspective.
