The Bogie System Engineer will be the reference System Engineer within the Service Engineering Organisation for the Bogie and its sub-components, in particular for:

Wheelsets and their components (axlebox and bearings; axles; wheels)
-
Suspensions
-
Bogie frame
-
Gearboxes and their sub-components (bearings; gearwheels; labyrinths)
-
Cardan shafts
-
Wheel flange lubrication systems
The Bogie Systems Engineer will be part of the Mechanical Systems Engineering Metier.
As member of a Project Engineering Team he/she will be in charge of the following activities, specifically for the Bogie and its components:

Work in cooperation with the ISR team to improve and optimise the Maintenance Plan and reduce the LCC

Support to the RAM data analysis

Management of the Reliability Growth issues

Preparation of Calculations Sheets and Technical Reports supporting the Safety Analysis (402/2013) in case of design modifications

Analysis and interpretation of tests results, when necessary for the previous point

Support to Trouble shooting when needed
-
Support to the Bogie Workshops in Savigliano and Nola during their activity for the Service Projects
