Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial quality expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure industrial quality standards are met throughout production and field operations, driving safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (operations, maintenance, management, and contractors), lead root-cause analysis activities, and contribute to enhancing quality assurance programs—and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

You’ll specifically take care of industrial quality inspections (QC/QA) directly on the shop floor in accordance with Alstom’s Quality Management System standards, but also manage internal Nonconformance Reports (NCRs): create, characterize, and track to closure using problem-solving methods (e.g., QRQC, 5 Whys).,

Monitoring processes to ensure compliance with industrial quality standards (QC/QA) throughout production and field operations. ,

Tracking and reporting Defects Per Unit (DPU) to drive line quality animation at shift end. ,

Leading handovers (GO / NO GO), retaining veto authority on NO GO decisions as needed. ,

Reporting safety-related rework issues immediately and halting activity if required for safety. ,

Participating in criticality matrix analysis and contributing to process P-FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis). ,

Developing and maintaining Quality Control Plans/Initiatives during operations and maintenance phases.

Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. ,

Experience or understanding of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes in industrial manufacturing or field operations. ,

Knowledge of root-cause analysis methodologies (e.g., QRQC, 5 Whys) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA). ,

Familiarity with developing and implementing Quality Control Plans and Work Instructions. ,
-
Strong communication skills—able to present audit findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly. ,
-
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ,

Ability to interpret and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety rules. ,

Integrity, initiative, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. ,

Collaborative mindset to work effectively with operations, maintenance, management, and contractors. ,

Analytical skills to track and report quality metrics such as Defects Per Unit (DPU) and Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ).
