As our new Mobilization and Transition Manager, you'll lead the path toward innovative solutions and operational excellence, directly contributing to enhancing transportation services and customer satisfaction. You’ll specifically take care of acting as the primary liaison between Alstom and the designated Authority, ensuring all contract obligations are met, but also developing comprehensive mobilization plans and spearheading safety programs, directing and coordinating the Contractor's performance to mobilize and successfully make a smooth transition to the new Contract Services under the obligations of this Agreement.

We’ll look to you for:

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • At least eight (8) years of general management experience in rail operations and three (3) years of experience in human resources, training, and/or organizational development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to and engage with senior leadership and public stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a knack for organizing work effectively and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proven ability to utilize technology for operational efficiency and safety improvements.
  • Solid background in managing operations and maintenance within complex railroad or transportation networks.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to implement, direct, and monitor safety programs.
  • Develop and execute workforce retention, training, and retraining complying with the Contract labor protection and 13c requirements.

Please note that any offer on this position is contingent on multiple variables.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
