The Reliability Engineer is responsible for identifying performance trends and analysis to improve the overall reliability of assets directly attributable to site penalty schemes.

 

 

Key responsibilities and challenges:

 

1 Increase availability and MDBSAF vehicle statistics by providing trend analysis and data pertinent to the system and fleet-affecting failures via Maximo data inputs. 

 

2 Increase availability and MTBSAF wayside statistics by providing trend analysis and data pertinent to the system and fleet-affecting failures via Maximo data inputs. 

 

3 Generate an associated cost to downtime events by using historical data, and develop a report that clearly depicts what systems and sub-systems are primarily (20% of Events Causing 80% of Downtime) responsible for downtime data events

 

4 Spend time with maintenance and Engineering to determine potential projects or data analysis that can be provided to assist with downtime events and system failures. Create a mechanism to track selected opportunities with defined processes in place for end-user expectations

 

5 Ensure participation in all practical problem-solving boards, including daily AES meetings.  

 

Requirements:

 

 

Education: B.S. in any Engineering Discipline

Experience: 3 years minimum

Skills: Analyze vast amounts of data to identify risks that can affect asset reliability and business operations and provide feedback that improves system downtimes

Knowledge: Train systems a plus, Microsoft Excel a must, Microsoft Power BI a plus

 

 

Salary Min - $79,200 Salary Max - $121,440
