Could you be the full-time Field Service Engineer in New York City (Queens) we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Jeff Cook ( Project Engineering Manager), and work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic, and collaborative teammates.

You'll be creating great value as you use your engineering skills to maximize performance and reliability from a maintenance perspective while working with next generation high speed rail transportation projects.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Troubleshoot all trainset systems.
  • Provide technical inputs to the whole Maintenance Site organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.  Equivalent experience on a 1:1 basis may substitute for the degree.
  • 2 years’ experience in engineering related field.
  • Knowledge of railway systems is highly desired.
  • Utilize your skills in strategic system thinking.

Location and Travel

  • On-site position based in New York City (Sunnyside Yard)
  • Initial travel: 25% during the first year, especially to Philadelphia (commissioning site)
  • Average travel: 10% time.

Salary range- $79,200 - $113,100
