We are looking for E&M Interface Engineer for Taipei Circular Line Project AC Consortium in Alstom Taiwan. The Interface Engineer for TCL Project AC Consortium is a key member of the System Engineering team, working in close collaboration with the Engineering team internally and externally with subsystems, also to interface with Customer.

 

Taipei Circular Line-II is a newly awarded project in taiwan to extend from phase 1 West ring to North and South rings of the future Circle Line, overall 20.66km with 18 stations cross both Taipei and New Taipei Cities.  

 

You should be with a good facilitation skill and good framework of Metro Technical Requirement to interfacing sub-systems. Also be in good communication skill in English interacting main stakeholders based in Taiwan and offshore to ensure the on-time and qualitative reporting and analysis. In this position, you will report hierarchically to Project Technical Manager of TCL Project AC Consortium in Taiwan.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Represent technically the project in front of customer
  • Support the System Interface management process : interface identification, interface register, taking into account the global Alstom Transport interests
  • Participate to the definition of the System Operation Plan, Architecture, Functional Specifications, Transversal Specifications, ICD
  • Support the System Interface Control Documents by pairs of Subsystems
  • Organise the consistency of the interfaces relevant to E&M
  • Manage the detailed interfaces definition (Software,Machanical,Electrical Interface Design Description, cabling consistency, etc) relevant to E&M
  • Coordinator onshore engineering team to well interface with Customer and Offshore Design team to meet On Time Delivery goal and Contractual requirement
  • Obtain Customer's (internal and external) safisfaction and confidence

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems, available E&M equipment and Subsystems
  • At least 8 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 5 years in projects
  • Good knowledge in System Engineering and interface definition a plus for Rolling Stock and Signallling system knowledge
  • Able to manage CAD tools and office software for documentation production
  • Aware of the International standard, able to appy  it for define the interface
  • Demonstrate Team, Trust, Action values
  • Foster Open Dialogue and Listens
  • Manage Conflicts of Ideas
  • A good level of English and Mandarin, other languages would be an asset
  • A good working relationship
  • University Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent
