Could you be the full-time Product Introduction (PI) Field Engineer in New Delhi we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and driven teammates.

You'll play a vital role in supporting our projects and Product Introduction (PI) team by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving technical and quality issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety Teams, Quality teams, and Project Engineering teams), provide technical guidance to technicians, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing malfunctions in operational equipment and recommending preventative actions, but also drive containment measures to avoid reoccurrence of failures.

We’ll look to you for:

• Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the Product Introduction period, as well as during Commissioning and Warranty phases

• Defining troubleshooting methodologies and providing technical guidance to technicians

• Driving resolution of key issues (e.g., Kx issues) with internal and external suppliers

• Ensuring the completeness and quality of input to failure management databases for RAMS exploitation

• Driving reliability growth through failure investigations and reliability forecast implementation

• Supporting the preparation and implementation of Field Modifications (FM)

• A graduate degree in Engineering or Industrial fields (a Master’s degree is a plus)

• Experience in technical fields such as mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering

• Knowledge of railway safety and RAM principles

• Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
