Could you be the full-time EHS Project Manager/Director in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, while also minimizing environmental impacts and protecting Alstom's assets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Project Management, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Finance), engage with external stakeholders such as local authorities and auditors, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of implementing EHS risk assessments and emergency plans, but also monitoring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
We’ll look to you for:

Supporting project management in achieving EHS performance goals

Ensuring EHS risk assessments are conducted and control measures are in place

Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans at the project level
-
Monitoring and managing subcontractor activities with respect to EHS
-
Leading and coaching EHS teams within the project
-
Deploying Alstom EHS standards and tools, such as AZDP and TOPE
-
Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and company EHS requirements
-
Preparing and implementing EHS training and communication plans
-
Reporting, investigating, and analyzing accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence
-
Monitoring historical pollution and associated risks
-
Preparing and submitting monthly EHS reports

University degree in Engineering or Business

Health & Safety qualification recognized by local authorities

(Desirable) Degree-level environmental qualification
-
6–7 years of professional experience, including 4 years in Environment, Health & Safety
-
Experience in project environments
-
Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
-
Deep knowledge of local legal requirements
-
(Desirable) Experience in metro and railway projects
-
(Desirable) EHS auditor certification
-
Teamwork and leadership skills
-
Analytical thinking and a rigorous mindset
-
Strong communication skills
-
Proficiency in continuous improvement tools

Good computer skills
