Could you be the full-time Fleet & Depot Planning Engineer in Delhi we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning and coordination expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing depot usage and ensuring seamless fleet operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Fleet Managers, Train Care Managers, Engineering, Train Movement), liaising with customers to provide up-to-date fleet status information, and coordinating train movements in the depot to meet operational needs.
You’ll specifically take care of scheduling maintenance exams and ensuring depot capacity optimization, but also manage real-time customer support and forward-facing defects.
We’ll look to you for:

Providing up-to-date information on fleet status to internal and external stakeholders

Ensuring real-time customer support and managing forward-facing defects efficiently

Scheduling maintenance exams at the depot to maintain high fleet availability
-
Prioritizing depot work to meet train availability requirements
-
Reacting to train failures and infrastructure-related issues to minimize production plan impact
-
Optimizing depot usage and managing service delivery in line with contractual quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) requirements

Promoting continuous improvement and ensuring robust processes within the fleet team

Supervising all vehicle movements within the depot

Leading, coaching, and developing your team, where applicable

Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and recommending potential improvements

Proficiency in IT tools, including office software, SAP, and planning tools like MS Project
