  • Drive the execution of project according to contractual requirements and customer expectations to maximize results with respect to cash, margin and OTD. 
  • Follow Alstom project management and EHS processes.
  • Accountable for Project QCD goals and ensure Alstom’s legal and contractual rights are maintained.
  • Review and assess Risks and Opportunities of the Project with the Customer Director and Core Team to develop action plans to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks. 



  • Primary contact with customer, partners, and Customer Director for project issues.
  • Manage Core Team including Contract Management, Finance, Engineering, Sourcing, Planning, Materials and Quality to ensure timely delivery of Contractual Requirements.
  • Manage customer and external stakeholders’ relationship by continuously ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements
  • Define project strategy and responsible for the overall coordination, and evaluation the project deliverables.
  • Accountable for project performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash)
  • Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:
    • Transfer from Revenue Service operations to project closure.
      • Closure to be aligned with introduction of Next Generation Trainsets in Revenue Service.
    • Work within Contract parameters to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Resources management:
      • Maintain project core team staffing resources based on demand.
      • Escalate and adjust project resources to match project needs.
    • Ensure key project stakeholders are aligned towards project/ goals.
    • Work with Technical Work Center Team to identify opportunities to capitalize on in-house repairs and sales. 
    • Manage Customer Owned Inventory and provide required monthly and quarterly reports. 
    • Engage project teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships among them.
    • Alignment of contractual requirements and change management working with Contract Management.
    • Manage claim and litigations as required. 
    • Proactive risk mitigation and opportunity management.
    • Management of the project progress reports and KPIs to senior management and Customers. 
    • Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, instructions, and standards:

BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Four to ten years related experience and/or training.

Desired 6 Sigma, PM certification
