Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Lean management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven teammates.
You'll play a key role in embedding Lean culture within the unit, ensuring a structured and sustainable approach to performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., management committees, functional departments), drive continuous improvement initiatives, and coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies and tools.
You’ll specifically take care of deploying the Alstom Performance System (APSYS) framework and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, but also fostering a culture of problem-solving and innovation.
We’ll look to you for:

Partnering with the Unit Managing Director to align performance goals with functional roadmaps

Coordinating and driving the deployment of the APSYS framework across all site functions
-
Animating the Site Improvement Plan (SIP) using Hoshin Kanri methodology
-
Providing hands-on Lean expertise to support functions in achieving their SQCD and DPA targets
-
Facilitating and leading operational excellence events, including Creaction and Alstom Excellence Awards
-
Driving communication and change management to promote a continuous improvement mindset
-
Training and coaching managers and employees on Lean methodologies, tools, and rituals

A Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience

Lean practitioner experience (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, Gemba, VSM, problem-solving)

Confirmed experience in a leadership role (e.g., Function Manager, Senior Project Manager)

Proficiency in interacting with management committees
-
Experience in project management and team management (direct or dotted line)
-
Proficiency in English
-
Lean Green or Black Belt certification (desirable)

Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
-
Critical thinking, data-savviness, and a results-driven mindset

Ability to foster collaboration and manage cross-functional, multicultural teams

Resilience and adaptability to drive change management

Courage and influence to support teams in complex problem resolution
