Could you be the full-time Teamlead PLANNING in Siegen we’re looking for?
Your future role:
You'll manage the adequacy between Demand (Firm & Forecast) and Resources (Manufacturing & Procurement) to reach customers QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and projects timescales while optimising site resources (people, machines & cash). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to capture the demand, contribute to planning instances and monthly reporting, build and update the Master Production Schedule and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of applying Industrial Planning Golden rules and make sure the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan) are implemented when moving in workshops and also, that demand management & scheduling (firm & forecast) is done in the Core Planning Tools and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
We’ll look to you to:
- Lead the team disciplinarily and professionally and develop them into the new jobcodes and responsibilities
- Manage relationship with Project Team (e.g. PrPM, PMM, PrSCL, etc.);
- Ensure that S&OP instance decisions are reflected as input into Single Integrated Operation Planning
- Ensure that SIOP instance decisions are reflected into MPS and/or Material Delivery Plan and cascade through the organization with appropriate communication to internal / external suppliers;
- Support the Industrial Planner / Master Production Schedulers in their daily activities and follow critical topics in detail with them
- Give visibility on industrial planning situation of the site (to Supply Chain or Industrial Director), alert when important delays impacting site’s OTD (On Time Delivery) are identified and propose solutions;
- Guarantee that the data inside the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / Core Planning Tool are the latest update
- Ensure that appropriate simulations and feasible scenarios to support decisions to be taken (with internal and/or external solution) are available for SIOP cycle;
- Implement the new process landscape and ensure the new ERP SAP implementation on time for Planning

- Graduated from university or engineering school (Master’s degree)
- Experience in industrial planning and leading of teams, staff responsibility
- Knowledgeable of End-to-End vision for Industrial Planning process and process impact in ERP for procurement and manufacturing
- Good knowledge of Core Planning Tool, ERP and Excel
- Mandatory language skills: German native and English B2
