Could you be the full-time hybrid Material Expeditor in Naperville, IL, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, results-driven teammates. You'll manage a supplier's portfolio to ensure timely, accurate delivery of goods, directly contributing to the efficiency and success of Alstom projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Logistics, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Finance), drive performance improvement plans, and much more."

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing Material Availability for missing parts and ensuring the timely delivery of critical components,

  • Communicating Material Planning documents to Suppliers and following up on confirmations,

  • Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with Suppliers to check the status of deliveries and performance,

  • Managing suppliers and related activities to improve cost, lead time, and on-time performance


All about you

  • High school graduate or equivalent.,

  • Experience or understanding of material planning/expediting and inventory management.,

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.,

  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal.,

  • Ability to perform data analytics for supply chain optimization.,

  • Competence in Procurement and Supplier Delivery Performance Management.
