Could you be the full-time hybrid Industrial Engineer in Naperville, IL, US we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous and innovative expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and skilled teammates. You'll spearhead the industrialization of maintenance and modernization processes for train components, making a significant impact on production deliverables and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Production, Sourcing), designing and improving industrial documentation and processes, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Configuration and maintenance of Bill of Material, Routings, or Task list in the ERP system,

  • Creation and improvement of industrial documentation and processes, ensuring adherence to Railway Safety and EHS standards,

  • Implementation of Alstom production standards in line with the Industrial Roadmap,

  • Leadership in industrializing technical documentation following the Standard Manufacturing Process & Line guidelines,

  • Development of necessary industrial deliverables, including Macro-process and Work Instructions,

  • Analysis of tooling needs and proposing adequate solutions, including designing or subcontracting tooling design activities,

  • On-field validation of industrial deliverables, tools, and means with maintenance execution

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing, Method, Process Engineering, etc.),

  • Experience or understanding of industrial documentation creation and industrial process improvements,

  • Familiarity with workflow optimization,

  • Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Task Sequencing, and method time improvement,

  • A certification or communication skill in business case development for internalizing repairs, overhauls, and new production

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$103,180 DOE,
  • Medical HSA/FSA, Dental, Vision and 401K,
