Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Mumbai we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, supporting both internal and external stakeholders to meet production and project needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Industrial Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Finance), manage supplier performance, and implement action plans to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
You’ll specifically take care of leading the material planning process and managing supplier KPIs, but also drive team performance and develop competencies within your team.
We’ll look to you for:

Applying core model processes for material planning and master data management

Managing supplier performance KPIs and aligning raw material coverage with targets

Collaborating with Procurement for risk and impact management, including supplier selection

Leading the supplier escalation process and supporting Material Planners in issue resolution

Ensuring the accuracy of material planning master data and compliance with contractual agreements

Organizing regular reviews with Material Planners to monitor supplier performance and delivery confirmations

Validating delivery performance KPIs and implementing action plans with stakeholders

Contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies
-
Developing team competencies and managing performance through feedback and reviews

6+yrs of Experience from Engineering Mechanical background
-
Knowledge of materials requirements planning and supplier delivery performance management
-
Skills: SAP GSI or SAP Hana or SAP experience. Advance excel, digital analytics, Power BI, Qlik

A Supply Chain or Project Management certification

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

Strong skills in lean management, team leadership, and collaboration

Fluency in English, with knowledge of a local language being a plus
