OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Manage Project until contract closure, respecting the QCD commitment & the EHS target.

 

Technical Competency & Experience:
15 years S&TC experience

 

Organisational Reporting

  • Deputy PM reports directly to the Project Manager

 

Network & Links

  • Project Core Team members,
  •  PMs from other Product Lines

 

Works closely with the : Project Manager, Customer représentatives, Deputy PMs Telecom, PSD . He shall work closely with the project core team including Planning, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Installtion, T&C, Quality and Safety teams. He/she shall also have a link with the teams involved in the project from different locations.

  • Customer representatives
  • Contractors from Other systems like RS, Track, Civil etc. for interfaces and planning
  • DyPMs / representatives from suppliers of Tel/PSD etc

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support PM in delivering project according to QCD, Contract and Safety commitments as specified at contract signature & related signed Variation Orders
  • Ensure that the project workload needs are well forecasted and anticipated by Project Managers
  • Define, review & adjust strategies of the project with Project Manager; periodically
  • Animate and lead operationally the Project Team, defining the project priorities
  • Support Project Manager and Customer Director in getting customer acceptance of the project
  • Ensure  Project Management Processes, Methods and Tools are applied on project
  • Ensure EHS rules are applied
  • Manage operational interface with client to satisfy contract requirements and plan compliance;

 

 Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION: Graduate in Electronics and/or Tele Comm. Engg. Or equivalent.
