Join us as an SQA Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno, Quebec.


As an SQA Engineer, you will be part of the continuous Improvement activities in this commodity group network across BT so the network drives change and improvement on an agreed and standard way all across the related supply base.


Your responsibilities will include: 

  • The execution of the Parts Approval Process (PAP) in accordance with the Doc 24 Plan and PAP activity harmonisation captured within the Global Planning Tool;
  • Contribute to the Supplier Evaluation and Approval Process and drives special process assessments at the suppliers within the assigned commodity group;
  • Conduct appropriate problem-solving activities from the output of the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Reviews;
  • Utilise their knowledge, experience and expertise to support the Global commodity SQA network and Global Lead Buyer in relation to supplier benchmarking, performance development and commodity strategy.



Key requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent ;
  • You have five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience in a relevant role e.g. Quality and or Operations role;
  • Practical experience in supplier audits and management;
  • Experience in Product /Quality Planning ;
  • Proven track records in Operational and Quality Methods (e.g. 6-Sigma, Lean, etc...)
  • Utilization of tools like Lotus Notes databases, Sharepoint lists, ERP (SAP), collaborative tools.
  • Expert knowledge of leading problem solving multi-functional groups and basic Quality tools (8D,  FTA, FMEA, VSM, MSA etc) GD&T and quality standards IRIS (asset) and ISO9001
  • Excellent English  communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
