Project V&V Designer

ENGLISH WILL FOLLOW 

Objectif

Le métier Validation assure un rôle pilier au sein de l’organisation. Il intervient sur plusieurs étapes du cycle en V, de la phase amont de capture des besoins du client jusqu’à l’intégration avec le client.

En tant qu’Ingénieur Validation et Vérification Projet en étroite collaboration avec le Project V&V Leader, vous interviendrez sur toutes les activités de Validation & Vérification du projet pour les sous-systèmes Management System (MS), GTCS Common Services System (GCS), Central SCADA system (Scada), Integrated Playback System (IPS) et Simulation & Training System (SIM).

Les tests sont effectués essentiellement en labo a notre bureau de Montréal, mais les ingénieurs de validation peuvent être également amenées à intervenir à distance ou bien directement sur les installations du client.

Rôle & Responsabilités

• Participer à la définition de la stratégie de validation
• Participer à la rédaction des plans et procédures de test (SuTD)
• Estimer la charge du plan d’exécution, et assurer son suivi
• Dérouler les tests, établir le rapport de tests (SuTR) et investiguer et tracer les anomalies détectées
• Synthétiser les résultats de tests
• Assurer la traçabilité des tests avec les requis des spécifications client en accord avec le Plan de gestion des requis
• Assurer une interface technique avec les autres métiers, notamment avec le métier du système ou sous-système et du logiciel
• Apporter du support aux utilisateurs du produit

Education

H/F de formation Ingénieur en électronique/informatique industrielle/BAC en Science/Expériences pertinentes

Expérience

Vous êtes fort(e) d’une expérience de 5 a 7 ans dans un environnement à forte technicité (électronique/informatique embarquée/réseaux industriels) idéalement dans la mise en œuvre technique de test système (banc de test, tests boîte noire,…).

Des connaissances en Cybersécurité et Réseau seraient appréciées,

Rigueur, bonne connaissance des activités de Vérification & Validation logicielles, curiosité technique, aisance relationnelle et sens de l'initiative sont vos atouts pour réussir dans ce poste,

Un niveau d'Anglais courant est indispensable.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

You will be part of the ICC V&V department supporting the project validation and verification activities. You will organize, plan and manage test campaigns to reach project objectives.

The Management System is made of the following subsystems: Management System (MS), Common Services System (GCS), Central SCADA system (Scada), Integrated Playback System (IPS) and Simulation & Training System (SIM).

You will be a key member of the project team to contribute to the success of the delivery of this Signalling project. The position is located at our Montreal office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop the test procedures for the Subsystem Requirements Tests Description (SuTD) of the different sub-systems requirements and test documents
• Prepare the testing platform for the different tests
• Executes test campaigns according to the relevant procedures/protocols
• Produce the Subsystem Tests Report for the planned subsystems deliveries
• Recommends priority and severity levels on problems faced
• Contributes to defining workload estimate
• Reports work progress
• Understand product objectives and content
• Supports team members and activities executed on testing platform or site

SKILLS & EDUCATION 

Essential:

• BS Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in Test Procedure Writing and execution
• A good knowledge of the Validation & Verification (V&V) process and life cycle.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others, while working in an international & diverse organization;
• Autonomous, you have the sense of emergency in order to define priority to deliver as per commitment, self-driven attitude.

 Desirable:

• 5/7 years & +, first testing experience, preferably on industrial products having reliability or safety constraints
• Understanding of system and software architecture
• Knowledge of SQL database
• Experienced on some test tooling environments: test campaign management, requirement management and change request tools, test automation
• Experienced on transport signalling systems is a plus
• Ability to communicate in French is an asset
