GSI Business Process Owner (BPO) role for Digital & Integrated System (D&IS) is responsible for the following activities:

•    Define the standard processes and Core Model for Global Single Instance (GSI), Alstom's SAP global solution and tranformation program, for D&IS Product Line.

•    Define relevant KPI, to monitor the way the cre processes are adopted and applied in the Regions operational activities. Conduct process maturity assessments.

•    Interface with IS&T, Regions, and central Funtions and act as a central point of contact for all GSI deployments for D&IS Product Line.
•    Build and animate the GSI community for D&IS, through regular meetings with RPBEs, Key-users, and BPO networks to facilitate sharing of best practices, lesson learns, and knowledge sharing.

•    Coordinate integration and acceptance test phases with the Regions and IS&T before the Go Live of new deployments or new features in GSI.
•    Analyse, advise and arbitrate in case of questions or gaps about Core model deployment. Participate in Change Control Boards (CCB). Arbitrate and evaluate change requests as and when required.

•    Be the referent for D&IS for any decisions concerning specific adaptations or change request through IS&T governance mechanism. Build / Evaluate business case for each opportunity of Core model evolution.

•    Support End-to-end processes and programs integration (Maximo, PLM4A, GSI, etc.) by liaising with other BPOs and Subject Matter Experts cross-functionally.

•    Define SAP technical aspects for D&IS such as master data rules, material flows, organizational structure.

•    Set up process documentation and training in English and provide trainings and communication of GSI Core Model for RBPE or Key User as and when required.



Knowledge and skills:

  • Good knowledge of Business processes related to Supply Chain & Industrial disciplines with minimal experience of 7 years.
  • Good knowledge of ERP/MRP concept 
  • SAP knowledge mandatory, experience with SAP deployment and migration.
  • English speaking and able to lead and perform change management on a global scale.
  • French speaking is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Ability to lead meetings, workhops and people training.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to listen and adapt (customer driven approach)
  • Able to propose ad drive Changes on a global scale and provide a business case to Senior Executive Management


  • Able to travel to different D&IS sites as and when required.
  • Able to adapt working hours to work with Europe where we have a significant footprint of D&IS business.
