YOUR RESPONSIBILITES :

Plan & organize Project

  • Plan/organize the delivery of assigned projects according to given budget and pin accordance with the Global roadmap, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model
  • Propose & implement initiatives to optimize plan / cost / quality
  • Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools
  • Apply templates and records to document Project activities following our standards

 

Staff Project

  • Define the capacity plan, skill matrix and adapt the sourcing model
  • Run sourcing process in collaboration with Sourcing dept.
  • Ensure that capacity plan for the Project is maintained timely

 

Lead Project

  • Ensure the drive of the project, by taking the appropriate actions to stick with given budget, plan and quality level
  • Manage the Project plan – scope / resources and tasks
  • Manage Project interdependencies
  • Identify and mitigate risks – drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed
  • Manage Project staff by providing direction, input and feedback
  • Manage Project partners
  • Communicate with Alstom stakeholders and community to get support for the Project

 

Control Project

  • Report in a timely manner Project status by following standards
  • Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope
  • Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures
  • Monitor forecast and report actual / cost at risk Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project activities and take appropriate action to control the risk 

 

PROFILE :

  • Engineering degree, preferably in information technology
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project management or IS&T management and coordination or support of IS&T business processes.
  • PMP certificate, an asset
  • Large scale/international program experience required
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SAP solution and associated deployment projects.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at executive level.
  • Be results-oriented and demonstrate intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Fluent in French and English

 

Regular trips according to project timing (Sites in the U.S. or Canada) as well as occasional trips to France (for a total of 20% of the time maximum)
