Job Title
REM Project - CBTC Signalling System Leader
Purpose of the Job
For the REM Project (Montreal), as part of the Alstom SLV (Signalling & Low Voltage) solution, the Urbalis CBTC solution is deployed to ensure automatic train operation and control (GoA4).
Acting as a key member of the SLV Technical team in Montreal, the CBTC Signalling System Leader is responsible for the technical coordination and successful completion of all cross-functional activities (ex: design, technical support to the testing team, change management) related to the CBTC Signalling System.

Objectives
The main objective of the CBTC Signalling System Leader is coordinating the delivery of the system to the customer, with the desired scope, quality and on time.
Responsibilities
- Be the local technical representative for the signalling system (first technical point of contact).
- Ensure resolution of technical topics in coordination with Engineering, Installation and Test and Commissioning Teams.
- Ensure process compliance for the signalling system deliveries.
- Participate to critical tests and provide technical support to the Test and Commissioning Team.
- Rebaselining and change management at signalling system level.
- Analyze customer/Civil Work inputs.
- Analyze signalling system deliveries (design documents, validation reports, Baselines).
- Manage sub-system situation and KPI, and report with transparency.
- Upon request from PM, is delegated to represent Alstom towards Customer and external stakeholders.
Performance Measurement
- Performance on CBTC Signalling issues/incident resolutions.
- CBTC Signalling design documentation fully accepted by the customer.
- Project Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) commitment.
- Revenue service readiness.
- Customer, Operator and Maintainer’s satisfaction.

Educational Requirements
Engineering diploma (Master of Science or equivalent).
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- Experience in railway project deployment is required.
- Knowledge about CBTC solution is required.
- A good understanding of projects managed in a consortium, multi-cultural and challenging planning environment is an asset.

- Open to expand its role within the project (ex: work on other Low Voltage sub-systems).
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Technical knowledge: Railway signalling, CBTC.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Project management skills: KPI updates, planning updates, reporting.
- Fluent in French and English is required.

Exceptionally, some project phases might require flexible work shifts (night, weekend).
