For this project encompassing these two lots, Alstom is looking for a Design Engineer whose responsibilities are as follows:

  • Drafting of technical specifications for Customer review.
  • Drafting of technical specifications for supplier contracts.
  • Evaluation of suppliers' technical responses during calls for tenders.
  • Ensure the review of documentary productions (specifications, drawings, calculation notes, etc.) as well as internal and external review processes.
  • Coordinate the production of shop drawings.
  • Participate in factory receptions.
  • Participate in site receptions.
  • Coordinate the production of installation drawings by suppliers and civil and electromechanical interfaces.
  • Review the documents for the provision of
  • Ensure timely production and validation of deliverables.
  • Ensure the technical compliance of products purchased and installed according to the requirements of the contract.
  • Manage product configuration.
  • Establishes and maintains nomenclatures and lists of materials.
  • Manage internal and external interfaces.
  • Be the technical leader in resolving nonconformities.
  • BIM:
    • A BIM operator will be under the responsibility of the engineering manager.
    • The Engineering Manager will oversee BIM coordination: integration of different products, internal and external coordination (civil engineering), conflict detection.
  • Reliability: The engineering manager will be responsible for monitoring the evolution of product reliability to achieve the required operational performance.
  • Lead the necessary changes in a product improvement approach.



  • OIQ Engineer, mandatory
  • Mechanical engineer profile
  • More than 5 years of experience in mechanics in the field of civil engineering
  • Strong synthesis and analysis capacity for good communication
  • Has a strong organizational capacity
  • Knows how to prioritize topics.
  • Knows how to evolve within a large project structure with its processes.
  • Demonstrates leadership.
  • Work in French and English
  • Experience in public transit is an asset.


80% office work / 20% on construction site
