An Alstom Regional Account Manager primary responsibilities are to monitor the market, identify and pursue sales opportunities within their customers and territory. Alstom Regional Account Managers also help to ensure a company’s clients are satisfied with the products and services they’ve received. A Regional Account Manager is responsible for obtaining revenue intake targets, customer satisfaction level, SAP and Wall C data updates that pertains to communications with the clients. Regional Account Managers visit clients in-person when required as well as manage an account remotely. Ultimately the role of an Regional Account Manager is to build long-lasting relationships with clients. 

 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team of engineers, project managers, customer service representatives.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Experience writing and delivering communications like proposals customers
  • Responding to Overhaul and Parts bids experience
  • Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
  • Acting as the point of contact if clients have any issues and helping them work through problems

 

 

Minimum four years experience in a professional sales position.

Preferably working in the transit, railroads or a similar or related heavy industry business.

Part sales and overhaul experience is preferred.

Onboarding clients to help them understand the full suite of company products, programs, and services

Project management experience would be an asset.

Able to travel primarily around North America for meetings and for sales opportunities.

Comprehension on public bid RFI IFB and RFI requirements and processes is an asset.
