Job Title: Project Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Role of the Project Coordinator is to support the Mississauga Parts & CRO business on activities related to Project Management Office, such as:

Support project QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People) performance and optimize financial performance (Margin & Cash).

Assist in developing the Project Management Work Package (WP) and facilitate project activities and stakeholder collaboration.

Support project planning, scheduling, and track procedures to meet timelines from initiation to finalization.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve open action items and identify internal process efficiencies.

Analyze customer data for potential cost savings to improve KPIs and review open order reports to mitigate potential delays.

Coordinate R&D activities, liaise with Engineering, Procurement, and other stakeholders to execute growth and development plans.

Identify opportunities for enhancing operations, reducing costs, and expediting schedules while ensuring effective project closeout.

Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes and action item tracking, and monitor project risks to assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support the implementation of best practices within project management processes.

Assist in training and onboarding new team members regarding project procedures and tools.

Educational Requirements:

University/College degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent.

2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Good knowledge of railway products and systems.

Strong conflict management and interpersonal skills.

Team spirit and solid organizational skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication abilities for collaboration in a matrix organization.

Proficient in standard office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (MS Project, Power BI, Visio).

Proven experience in project coordination or related roles in multinational environments.
