More than a job: a mission
As the Lab Manager supporting a major rail project (ETCS Level 2), you will play a critical role in ensuring the readiness of the State Lab and maintain its configuration throughout the project.
Your role, your impact
- Coordinate and maintain the Interface Matrix, Interface Register, IDS and ICDs relating to the State Lab.
- Coordinate readiness of the State Lab and Temporary Labs to enable early interface testing between the Alstom RBC and external interfaces.
- Maintain State Lab configuration alignment with subsystems under test and of the on‑site configurations.
- Manage the availability and scheduling of the State Lab to support on‑time V&V activities.
- Monitor and report progress of State Lab delivery across all project stages.
- Review planning activities in collaboration with the Planning Manager.
- Participate as required with the Integration Manager to the relevant Working Groups set by the SI.
You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across Altom — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.
What you bring
- University Degree in Engineering..
- Several years’ experience in SIG software validation/lab testing for complex projects.
- Knowledge of the rail environment, engineering practices, and interface management.
- Excellent knowledge in creating dashboard/action item list
- Excellent Microsoft Office & MS Excel skills
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and engineering language.
- Able to Write clear requests to the team in order to obtain the exact status of the change request open/close status.
- High attention to detail with a strong technical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, professional approach, and commitment to EH&S standards.
How success is measured
- Delivery of the State Lab according to the program.
- Progress report on the State Lab implementation (and Temp lab).
- Action tracker related to the State Lab implementation.
- Configuration file of the State Lab readily available and updated as required (kept up to date).
- EH&S Performance.
