Could you be the Senior Project Contract Manager based in Milton we’re looking for?

Your future role:

 

As the Senior Project Contract Manager you will take on a new challenge and apply your contract management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Product Line Project Contract Manager Lead, and work alongside a diverse group of Colleagues that support our QLD New Generation Rollingstock project.

 

You will be based in the Milton office with frequent travel to the Wulkuraka facility and will play a pivitol role in providing contract and commercial guidance to the Project Director and the project leadership team. You will also be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Project Contract Managers and assisting them where required.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Providing high-level commercial and contractual guidance.

  • Identifying commercial opportunities and risks across the project.

  • Representing the project commercially to our customer.

  • Working closely with our legal team to finalise settlements.

  • Overseeing the drafting of notices and letters.

  • Stepping in to assist the team with contract management tasks as required.

  • Highly presentable and have a demonstrated ability to successfully represent an organization commercially.

  • Proven experience in developing commercial strategies and identify commercial/contractual risks and opportunities.

  • The ability to build strong relationships, and engage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.

  • An engineering or legal background will be highly advantageous.

  • Experience in the railway, transport, heavy industrial or an adjacent industry.
