Your role, your impact
The Engineering Planner / Design Coordinator will be working on the Sector 1 North Project (based in Brisbane) which is an amazing opportunity to be part of a major ETCS Level 2 signalling project for Queensland. This will be on a 2 year fixed term contract. This role will be involved with the following responsibilities:
- Monitoring all Engineering activities for the S1N project in Australia
- Coordinate planning between the Aus and India production centre
- Integrate software development planning and the product development planning
- Maintain dashboards of progress per streams (Interlocking, ETCS, Lab development, Integration, System)
- Support contract management with detailed What if assessments for all variations coming our way
- Produce Deliverable register updates on a weekly basis for submission to the customer.
You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across Altom — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.
What you bring
- A university degree in Engineering
- Advanced use of Excel for dashboard / montoring tool creation
- Several years of experience in planning of engineering activities
- Familiarity with progress dashboards and the ability to maintain and track action item lists to support project delivery and reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and a professional approach
- Commitment to EH&S performance and quality delivery
- Able to commit to this role for 24 months.
