Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Contract and Commercial Manager.

The main purpose of this role is  to ensure the administration of all commercial and contractual aspects of the project between Bombela Maintenance, the Operator and the Concessionaire and other relevant organizations.

This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg. 

YOUR ROLE:

  • Ensure that the Alstom internal procedures and financial reporting criteria are undertaken and that Alstom manages the contacts with maximum commercial effectiveness by mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities. 
  • Support the defending and reporting of claims through dispute resolution as required with proper follow through
  • Effective change control and contract administration

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Law degree
  • 10 years relevant hands-on commercial and contracts experience
  • Customer & supplier orientation
  • Technical industry knowledge would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of project office administration
  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizing skills
