Could you be the full-time on site Supplier Product Quality Engineer in Mexico we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

We’ll look to you for:

  • Validation Product and Process associated

    • Responsible at tender phase to communicate and validate quality specifications and Quality product file (Supplier Product Quality Development plan (SPQD plan) in anticipation with suppliers.

    • Manage the comparison matrix (the Supplier Quality Status (SQS)) phase till the Business Award in coordination with sourcing, validate the relevant waivers.

    • Perform SPQD plan by setting-up relevant action plan all along the product / process development to reach Supplier FAI Go on time.

    • Apply the Design For Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone for external subsystems.

    • Responsible to perform the handover with Supplier Quality Assurance Engineers and Professionals.

    • Manage warranty issues linked to suppliers in collaboration with Project warranty responsible.

  • Management, performances  and reporting 

    • Inform Supplier Product Quality Development manager, Sourcing, Industrial and Engineering / Projects entities about the main issues, increment Return On Experience (ROE).

    • Report about his activity manages his indicators (example visual management).

    • Participate in the management of yellow supplier’s status.

    • For ‘trusted’ suppliers: perform Return Of experience (REX) analysis, share it with all stakeholders and support Trusted program.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement program

    • Propose good practices.

    • Contribute to Alstom Production System (APSYS) Supplier Project Quality Development roadmap.

  • Non- Conformities Management

    • Responsible for Non-Conformity day-to day management, insuring reactivity to inform supplier of Non-Conformity Report (NCR), to replace defective parts and to implement securization.

    • Animate Non Conformities Report treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Non Conformity Report (NCR) target.

    • Invoice the Cost Of Non Quality (CONQ S1) to the suppliers.

  • Solving issues & Continuous Improvement

    • Challenge our suppliers to enforce relevant corrective and preventive action plan, challenge reactivity.

    • Audit supplier process to check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan and ensure control plan sustainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers).

    • Set up and manage Supplier development roadmap for non-performing Suppliers according to Supplier Quality escalation process (Green / Yellow / Red status).

  • Graduated from Technical or Master Degree level or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Supplier Quality Project or Production

  • Production management, Engineering  or Industrial Competence
