Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your security and crisis management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and multicultural teammates.
You'll safeguard Alstom’s people, assets, projects, and sensitive information across Mexico and North LAM, ensuring a secure environment for operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Cluster MDs, Country MDs, Bid Managers, Tendering Teams), coordinate with external stakeholders (embassies, local authorities, private security companies), and implement security awareness and training sessions, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Developing and implementing security measures to ensure a secure environment for Alstom people, assets, and activities. ,

Implementing measures to ensure economic security and protect Alstom sensitive information within your area of responsibility. ,

Rolling out crisis management processes and establishing a dedicated organization in this area. ,

Deploying security directives and controlling the effectiveness of their implementation. ,
-
Managing threat assessments and conducting risk analyses across your area of responsibility. ,
-
Providing advice and recommendations to Cluster MDs and Country MDs on security issues. ,
-
Coordinating with all internal and external security stakeholders, including private security companies, local authorities, and embassies. ,

Supporting business strategies in greenfield projects and participating in bid preparation processes by contributing to risk analysis and cost estimates for security aspects. ,

Building relevant security organizations and implementing security procedures and measures for projects and sites within your area of responsibility. ,
-
Acting as the Crisis Management Team Coordinator and managing security crises and serious incidents, with 24-hour availability to address emergencies."

Degree in security or any geopolitical and security-related topics. ,

Experience or understanding of the international security environment, including geopolitical and security situations in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. ,

Knowledge of information protection and advanced security measures. ,

Familiarity with crisis management protocols and drafting security plans. ,

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and outside the organization). ,

Ability to adapt to constant change and manage multiple tasks in complex, high-pressure situations. ,

Multicultural sensitivity and experience in organizing and managing staff/teamwork. ,

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in synthesizing information. ,

Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. ,
