PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Prepares in BIM environment the Mainline and Urban (M&U) Signaling Installation Engineering (IE) models in support of one or
several Bid/Projects, applying the guidelines established by the BIM team and under the supervision of SIG BIM Coordinator
- Ensure capability in designing and modifying 3D objects in the adequate software used/required by technical environment (Revit,
AECOsim, AutoCAD, Microstation, Navisworks)
- Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, he/she executes the IE BIM models and drawings, in coordination with
the BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator, including:
o Produce the deliverables under the responsibility of the Sig BIM Coordinator
o Use dedicated tools, procedures, and templates for design development of BIM models
o Prepare models and drawings packages for submission
o Prepare reports and schedules for internal use (exports from Revit)
o Contribute to prepare the design under the responsibility of the System BIM Manager and/or Sig BIM Coordinator
o Produce drawings and BIM models consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD/BIM standards
o Generate BIM models with dedicated tools (Revit MEP)
o Draft/generate plans, diagrams, and schedule in Revit and/or AutoCAD drawings
o Support the BIM Manager and/or Sig BIM Coordinator in the completion of Subsystem Component Library,
o Assist the BIM Coordinator in checking the deliverables as part of the Sig / System technical validation
o Provide design assistance to IE Designers and Engineers
o Attend to training sessions set up at team level and project level
o Ensure application of D&IS Installation and FO Process for IE activities
Performance measurements
o Assist the Design BIM Coordinator in keeping up to date the list of BIM models and their status
o Contribute the enforcement of good practices within the design team
o Assist the Design BIM Coordinator in reporting of design development to the BIM Manager
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
o High school Diploma or Engineering degree level or equivalent
education
Desirable:
o BIM and/or Autocad Certification
o Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and ProjectWis
Experience
Mandatory:
o 1+ year's production experience in design, drafting or
engineering (Project and/or construction experience
appreciated)
Desirable:
o EHS background
o Basic knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
