OCS Engineer (Intern)

 

Purpose of the Job

  •  Support in analyzing mechanical systems supports, and structure, cables, and wires.

 

Position in the Organisation

Organisation Reporting

  • The position reports hierarchically to the NLAM Engineering OCS & Track Manager

 

 

Network & Links

The OCS Engineer will liaise with:

  • Engineering: The project/tender Design team, the related regional/central Design team and other Infra/Sys Design teams,
  • Project: The project/tender management team,

 

 

Missions

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

The OCS Engineer's work will be evaluated according to:

  •  The following points for the documentation produced by his project Design team:
  • On-time delivering: 100%,

 

Responsibilities

 

  • The DE produces a part of the OCS Basic Design on the project/tender :
  • OCS General Arrangements
  • OCS Technical specifications
  • OCS Assemblies & parts
  • OCS Layout rules
  • OCS Calculation rules and notes

 

  • The DE produces a part of the OCS Detailed, Construction and As-built Design on the project/tender :
  • OCS Layouts
  • OCS Schematics
  • OCS Calculation sheets
  • OCS Mounting sheets
  • OCS Feeding studies
  • OCS interfaces with Bridges/Structures studies

 

Job Specifications

Knowledge & Experience

•    Student 8th or 9th semester from engineering school in Civil/Mechatronics/Mecanic Engineering

•    Good knowledge of Principles of mechanics, structural analysis, numerical methods, Inventor, Revit, etc.

•    Autonomy, motivated, initiative, and interested in technical topics,


Programming languages (Any language), blueprint reading
 

•    Intermediate English,  second language appreciated.
