The Process and Project Management Office Department Head is responsible for leading the process and PMO teams across the region. The responsibilities of the team include KPI analysis/reporting, workload management, process management, and project management oversight. 

 

Responsibilities

  • KPI Management:
    • Establish and monitor region level performance based KPIs for the engineering and project management domains.
    • Prepare region level KPIs monthly , report to Sr Leadership.
    • Managing the reporting of KPIs across all other domains.
    • Drive Red KPI management and REX across domains.
  • Workload Management:
    • Lead the workload management domain for the region.
    • Drive the workload team to create and deploy a new workload process for the region.
    • Establish workload reports across the region and present workload status to directors and department heads.
    • Interface with other domains to create input requirements and ensure that outputs are correct and utilized.
  • Process Management:
    • Coordinate with Quality Management System Owner to establish certifications and audit cadence.
    • Lead the process team in facilitating process and QMS audits and driving audit prep and  actions.
    • Develop, lead, and execute the process review system for the region.
  • Project Management Support
    • Process owner for project management related processes, governance, templates, etc.
    • Update process as needed and create/deploy project management process related training.
    • Facilitate FPR/MPR coordination and monitoring.
    • Implement and facilitate resource management reviews durring work package review meetings
  • People Management:
    • Hierarchal manager for approximately 6 direct reports. Team size may change as initiatives launch and close.
    • ​​​​​​​Perform mentoring, produce/present trianings, and drive team's workload and tasks.

 

  Educational Requirements:

  Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Science in Engineering, Management, or related field
  • English, full proficient use

 

Experience:  

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in signaling domains of Engineering, Project Management, or Program Management
  • Engineering, Planning, or Project Management  experience
  • Process ownership/deployment experience
  • Enterprise level KPI development, deployment, and monitoring experience
  • Experience and understanding of project and program execution and management
  • Awareness of Alstom tools, process, and platforms
  • People Management Experience
  • Experience leading cross functional teams, initiatives, and workshops​​​​​​​

  Desirable:

  • Project Management Certification (PMO, IMPA, etc)
  • Established networking abilities
  • Experience leading Alstom KPI and process management
