Your future role

Based in our Melbourne CBD office and reporting to the Parts & Overhauls Manager, this exciting opportunity puts you at the forefront of driving growth across our ANZ Parts and Overhauls portfolio. In this dynamic, customer-facing position, you’ll proactively identify and unlock opportunities across our national customer base—fueling sales growth and strengthening long-term partnerships. Leveraging your technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills, you’ll collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs, deliver value, and create meaningful commercial outcomes. If you thrive on building connections, spotting opportunities, and making a tangible impact, this is your chance to take your career to the next level.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Taking ownership of maintaining accurate and up-to-date Customer Installed Base (CIB) data in Wall.C, ensuring a strong foundation for strategic decision-making.
  • Transforming CIB data into actionable insights by identifying and showcasing accessible market opportunities.
  • Tracking and reporting on tactical sales performance, highlighting progress, trends, and opportunities to exceed targets.
  • Leading and executing targeted sales growth initiatives, providing regular updates on outcomes and impact.
  • Championing continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and driving process enhancements (including initiatives such as freight and warehousing optimisation).
  • Monitoring customer health and proactively drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
  • Actively participating in customer reviews and feedback sessions, using insights to enhance service delivery and commercial outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining clear, data-driven dashboards to track key performance metrics such as OTD, TTQ, and OTIF.
  • Staying ahead of potential challenges by proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimise customer impact and delays.
  • Managing sales forecasts with a focus on volume and margin performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A proactive, results-driven professional with the energy and motivation to identify opportunities and turn leads into tangible outcomes.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel interstate as required to connect with customers and support business needs.
  • A solid technical or engineering background within the rail or rollingstock industry, providing a strong foundation for success in the role.
