We currently have exciting opportunities to join the South Dynon, West Melbourne team. This is a full-time position and would suit a reliable, flexible, and hardworking candidate who is able to 
work independently and proactively with little supervision in a team environment.


Relevant experience, skills and attributes required:


  •  Experience in timber, plastics, paint, varnish, upholstery, light gauge metal fabrication and fibre glass or welding qualifications would be an advantage.
  •  Experience in automotive glazing using modern adhesives.
  •  Have experience working in rail car maintenance (highly regarded but not essential).
  •  Ability to interpret technical documents such as engineering drawings and operation manuals.
  •  Willing to undertake further training to achieve additional qualifications if required.
  •  Work according to the roster arrangements, which will include weekends and public holiday work when required.
  •  Undertake a variety of activities that may involve a degree of physical labour.



Key Requirements:


  • Successfully completed an apprenticeship as a vehicle artisan, e.g. Vehicle body builder, Car and Wagon Builder, Carpenter, Upholsterer, Painter, Shop-fitter or equivalent.
  • Hold or be prepared to obtain a forklift licence or other permits as required;
