Your future role
We have an exciting opportunity available to take on this critical leadership position for our Services Product Line, as the Operations Manager for our LRV projects in Victoria. Based at our brand new facility in Maidstone, VIC, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations for both our G-Calss and E-Class maintenance contracts. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, manage complex stakeholder relationships, drive operational excellence and play a pivotal role in building and developing a positive and productive team culture.
We’ll look to you for:
- Leading, coaching and mentoring a growing team.
- Managing the mobilization and availability of resources, including roster management for 24/7 coverage.
- Overall Management of Maidstone and Preston depot maintenance scope, technical teams and contractors.
- Driving consistent, day‑to‑day fleet availability and performance.
- Championing a strong safety culture across the operations, including Rail/Product Safety.
- Implementing initiatives to support motivation and engagement of the workforce
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Project Director as required.

- Significant leadership experience within operations, including working with Unions (Ideally maintenance operations).
