Could you be the full-time Junior Finance Project Manager in West Melbourne we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your finance expertise in a new cutting-edge field, joining our Services business and advancing your career in Finance and Controlling. You’ll work alongside motivated and passionate teammates for the Regional Rolling Stock Maintenance Contract (RRSMC) project in West Melbourne. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the accuracy of the data accounted for on the project, cost movements and comparison with “As Sold” Situation as well as with previous forecast. You'll work closely with and support the project team and the Senior Finance Project Manager to manage the overall financial controlling and governance of the RRSMC project and much more.
We’ll look to you for the following activities:
- Ensuring project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines and consistency with project teams (e.g., planning, sourcing)
- Helping in different work package reviews and preparing the estimate at completion to be validated during the Project Reviews
- Ensuring reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books
- Challenging and approving Project Financials (cash, competitiveness) as per Delegation of Authority
- Providing confirmation of Internal Transfer Pricing policies to procurement for the issuance of internal purchase orders
- Controling the intercompany flows of Internal purchase orders, updating Budget and Forecast figures of the project
- Ensuring that project calculations reflect status of project, preparing EAC change requests

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or Master’s Degree in Finance
- Hands on experience on SAP/ GSI or similar ERP system
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Strong understanding of analysis, Budgeting, Cost and Cost Variance analysis
