ICC / SCADA Manager - SRL

Your future role

We have an exciting opportunity available to join us on a new major project for Alstom ANZ and the state of Victoria, the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) project. Reporting to the Engineering Manager Rail Systems, you will be responsible for leading all the ICC and SCADA activities for the project.

We'll look to you for;

• Management of local ICC SCADA team (3 direct reports).
• Management of offshore ICC SCADA team in Bangalore & Madrid (30 reports).
• Interfacing with Alstom product teams for ATS and ISM to ensure that SRLA requirements are met and aligned with the Alstom product roadmaps.
• Interfacing with Alliance partners notable the operator TransitLinx and client through the specification, design, installation, testing and commissioning of the N&T systems.
• Delivery and acceptance of N&T Contract engineering deliverables including; Management Plans, Specification of the ICC SCADA systems, ICC and SCADAs Design Packages and V&V Evidence including lab and site testing (Specification and Reports).

To be successful in this role you will ideally have;

• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and manage stakeholders across all levels.
• An agile and proactive approach, with the demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• The demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, but also work autonomously.

• An extensive background in delivering Railway Control Centres and SCADA Systems including;  Railway Control Centre Design, Train Control Systems and SCADA systems.

• Experience of delivering 5G wireless networks for railway applications such as Signalling.
• A relevenant Tertiary Qualification in Engineering / Maths / Science.
