Reporting to the Project Technical Manager we are currently recruiting for a Engineering Cadet - Signalling to join our growing team at ALSTOM in Australia. This is a great opportunity for a Cadet where they will be working on the Melbourne Airport Rail project. This is a transformational public transport project connecting Melbourne Airport to Victoria's regional and metropolitan train network for the first time.The role will be based in Melbourne.  


In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of signalling solutions for the Melbourne Airport Rail project

  • Develop a sounds knowledge and understanding of signalling and Communcations Based Train Control (CBTC)

  • Be exposed to major clients, state of the art technologies and work alongside well-regarded industry and technical experts.


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Be undertaking your first or second year of undergraduate studies in Engineering.
  • Good verbal/written communications skills for effective interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required of you.
