Site Engineering Workload and Subcontracting Engineer (m/f/d)

 

 

 

Purpose of the Job

 

  • To consolidate and challenge site engineering workload in accordance with engineering rules

 

  • To manage sub-contracting for engineering (overview of actual contracts and demands) and to guarantee reliability of data

 

  • To drive engineering subcontracting performance, competitiveness and standardization in close relationship with sourcing>

  • Functional report to Central engineering workload and subcontracting Engineer

Responsibilities

 

Engineering Workload Management

 

  • Consolidate site engineering workload and provide an overview for subcontracting in terms of volume per department (engaged and new demands)
  • Challenge engineering metier and projects about consistency and time range of firm and forecasted projects
  • Propose forecast for potential projects per metier (including R&D Tender, Sustaining)
  • Prepare and analyses scenarios of workload based on opportunities in the pipeline
  • Respect rules of workload management defined by Central
  • Propose some SEC adjustments if needed with others sites

 

 Engineering Subcontracting Management

 

  •  Apply subcontracting process based on local rules and central guideline (BCC ownership )

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in engineering or business administration
  • Over 3 years experience working with P6 /Planning /workload
  • Prior experience of working in a multinational, matrix environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point
  • English - native or fluent
  • German good to have
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Structured and solution oriented
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
