Your Future Role
In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Puertollano Ventura Luis Alfonso and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to
- Ensuring the quality of the RAM deliverables and drive their acceptance by the customer (internal or external) within the limits of Alstom Transport commitments.
- To continuously assessing the capability of the Alstom Transport product to meet the reliability performance in project/program phases and define the necessary reliability actions to minimize Alstom Transport risks and follow them until closure (Reliability Related Item List).
- Supporting the other stakeholders (design, safety, hardware, software, validation etc..) in the definition of appropriate measures to meet the reliability actions.
- Performing the reliability design reviews as per the project/program schedule
- Performing the RAM analyses (Reliability Prediction RPR, Reliability Block Diagram RBD, FMEA, FMECA, FTA, Live Cycle Cost Calculation LCC) as per the applicable RAMS instructions/processes other specific requirements committed to the Customer.
All About You

- RAM prediction and measurement methods and tools with 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
- Experience with safety analysis, safety demonstration methods (FME(C)A, FTA …) and tools is advantageous
- Structured and organised with hands-on approach
- English operational in read/writing and technical meetings. German language is advantageous.
